Capital Works Program – need to know what’s happening
Next meeting Ian Yarroll to discuss alterations to the course and other capital works after meeting with Peter Taylor
Allan Barrow and Bob Green spoke to Lynn – confirmed lunch for Open Day $12.50
Kim to draft letter to NRVGA asking that each club set Open Day Visitor Fees as mandated fees not enough to cover costs

Treasurer Report:
John presented the financials for January.
Bank Balance at End of January … $24,800
Equity at End of January … $19,000

Captain Report:
Yearly vets games calendar submitted to proshop.
Yearly games are 50% stroke or single stableford, 50% team games.
Gary noted there are 51 entries for the Week of Golf to date.
More visitors are joining the Monday competition at guest rate of $35.
Division 2 matchplay has been cancelled due to inability to get relevant players together.
Propose to have a qualifying round to deliver 32 players with follow up games to be set by the match committee.
Week of Golf – Elders Real Estate has agreed to $500 sponsorship for Hole-in-One Challenge. Allan advised that Elders sponsorship will be for all of July also.

General Business:
Kim to approach the Ladies committee to ask if they would like to hold an invitation (to Vets) on Tuesday 11th June.
Tony to pick dates for a Koralbyn trip and display it on the Vets Notice Board.
A working bee has been requested by Bill Quantrill to clean up the forest area.
Blue tree painting to be followed up with Hugh Hamilton and Tony (paint from Williams)
Allan advised he has sponsors up until August – will only look for others if necessary.
Gary advised that we are still waiting for a confirmation letter from Gary Thatcher regarding the fees for the Open Day, Week of Golf and Mt Warning Classic.
Bob enquired about the use of the Simple Golf app. John said that 23% of Vets used it last Monday and that the proshop is trialling the app during February.
Tony highlighted that the index for the 9th hole is incorrect (will follow up with proshop). Also raised the issue of the Club’s Honour Board. Ian advised that a contractor has been employed to “build” it. Gary said that the Club was having trouble finding some of the historical records.
