Murwillumbah Veterans are proud to call Murwillumbah Golf Club our parent Club.
We meet once a week on Monday mornings to play this magnificent challenging course, under the watchful eye of Wollumbin (Mt Warning). The presence of this sentinel forms the backdrop to many of the fairways and greens.

The camaraderie on and off the course is the essence of Murwillumbah Veterans. We play various individual and team events. Click on the Members Tab to see the Playing Schedule for the coming year. Each month we play our Monthly Medal with additional Honour Board events throughout the year.
Our Lady Golfers who are members of Murwillumbah Golf Club, now have the opportunity to join the New South Wales Veteran Golfers Association (NSWVGA). They must be over 55years of age. To do this they must join Murwillumbah Veterans. This is easy to do. Just fill in the Nomination Form (Click Here) and pay $10.00 to our Treasurer. Lady Vets can then play any Monday with the other vet members.
A Wednesday competition is made available to Veteran members and is played in conjunction with the Members event of the day. Entry to this competition is only $1.00 payable at Golf Shop prior to competition.
Each year we have away events – Travelling Vets. In November we travel to Tenterfield for three days of golf and enjoy the hospitality of their Club. We also have day trips to play one of the Gold Coast courses. These events are subsidised by the Vets.
This is made available to our Veteran Members by revenue we raise throughout the year. We organise and run a very successful “Week of Golf” in July and also our own Northern Rivers Veterans’ Open Day in June.
In addition to subsidising the Travelling Vets, funds raised are given back to our members in the form of Members’ Christmas Party and Presentation. We also expend funds on ‘special projects’ that benefit ALL members of Murwillumbah Golf Club. These projects have included pathways, bridges, notice board, projector screen and projector and computer.
So why not come and join us? … If you have reached the tender age of 55years, you are eligible to join the Vets. Membership is only $10.00 once you are a member of Murwillumbah Golf Club. Simply fill in this Nomination Form, Pay your $10.00 to the Treasurer and come any Monday and play.
